Get out of your comfort zone. If you don't, then just stay home; there's no need for you to vacation. Especially if you are going to end up doing the same thing on vacation that you would if you stayed at home.
I don't mean to sound rude but my above statement is true. If you are planning to travel, then you should keep one thing in mind, truly experience the culture that you are visiting. Many people go on vacation or visit a far off place and never truly immerse themselves in the culture, so they come home unchanged and uninspired. If you are planning a trip to an exotic destination or a far off place remember to get outside your bubble.
A lot of people that work hard only have a few weeks a year to enjoy themselves. Many people that go on a vacation for a week or two really don't have time to get into a culture or enjoy a cities or a countries true personality. If you are planning on traveling, it probably will take more than two weeks to get the true traveling experience.
Most people that travel usually take off at least three months or more to visit a few cities or countries. Europe is a great place to travel, because you can easily hop from one country to another over night and without taking flights everywhere. Many students that travel are able to get outside their bubble and meet interesting people from the culture that they are experiencing. When you spend three to six months in one place you can truly understand the people much better.
Many people visit Europe for two weeks staying in one city each day and they think that they have experienced the world. For a person to experience a different place and culture, they must travel outside their bubble.
